Why does Ivan promise Stella that he will take care of Ruby when he knows how hard it will be to keep that promise?

I think that Ivan promised because Stella was part of Ivan's family and used his job as a silverback. Stella wants Ruby's life different and better than hers, and wants her to stay safe. Ivan has no one to protect because his family passed away, he wants to treat Ruby as he would to his real family. Ivan wants to make her feel happy and not let Stella down. Even though Ivan might be the last gorilla, he can promise anything..... As a silverback.

I think that Ivan promised Stella that he would take care of Ruby even when he knows how hard it will be to keep that promise because Ivan is the last silverback and a silverback always protects his friends and family,because Stella passed away and Ruby cannot survive.

Ivan promised Stella that he will take care of Ruby because Ruby said to him " I am not safe here at all." So Ivan promised to take care of her because she needs it even if its hard for him. That's why Ivan promised Stella he will take care of Ruby.

Ivan promises Stella that he will take care of Ruby even if he thinks it'll be hard because Stella is his best friend and he wants to take care of Ruby because Stella loves Ruby and she doesn't want her to be lonely and sad. Ivan thinks Ruby's funny and maybe she needs company and needs a family. Ivan also wants to make his best friend happy.

I think that Ivan promise Stella that he will take care of Ruby because Stella wants Ruby to have a different life than her. Ivan is a silverback and he is supposed to protect someone but he doesn't have anyone to protect so that's why Stella asked Ivan to take care of Ruby. It's hard for Ivan to keep the secret because if he told the secret to Ruby, Ruby would be sad.

I think that Ivan promised Stella he would take care of Ruby because he was a silver back gorilla and they protect people and animals .That's what silver backs do protect and Ivan had nobody to protect because Bob and Stella were taking care of Ruby.I think it will be hard to keep that promise because Ruby always asks questions that Ivan does not know and he is a gorilla she is an elephant they are both different animals so it will be hard for Ivan to take care of Ruby.

I think it will be hard for Ivan because when stella said "she needs to be somewhere else" I think that Ivan is going to break out of his domane and rubys to and go into the wild and try to sirvive.

I think Ivan promises to take care of Ruby even though it will be hard because he doesn't want to let Stella down. Ivan is also the last silverback gorilla, and silverbacks protect each other and their friends.

I think that Ivan promises stella because Stella was part of Ruby famliy and he knew it was the right thing to do. It was hard for him because taking care of a baby is hard to do by yourself thats why it would be hard.

Ivan promised Stella because Stella said, "I want Ruby's life to be different and better than my life." Ivan always thought Stella was family to him so he wanted to take care of Ruby since Stella cared a lot about Ruby.
